Pobie Skeo

This area of steep sandstone cliffs west of Sandness is generally of poor quality, however the area of Pobie Skeo provides some quality climbing on good sandstone.

On the A971 travelling north east follow the road to Sandness all the way to the very end, parking in the car park at Huxter. From here walk west past the water mills along the coast for 10 mins past the loch to some steep black slabs. Scramble down these and step across the precarious gap at their south end. The routes are staring you in the face!

Sorry but you need to be logged in to the site to see routes and problems at crags. Of course it costs nothing to register and you’ll be able to see all! Thanks.
