Description

Fetlar is one of the few of Shetland's outlying islands to have been properly explored, all by resident climber Pete Sawford. The main two crags are listed here but there are other areas worth climbing. Fetlar is a stunning island and well worth a visit. The routes are also excellent quality and would be climbed more if they were easier to access!

Access

To reach Fetlar, take the ferry from Toft to Yell and then drive up Yell and take another ferry to reach Fetlar. Both crags are on the South of the island near the main settlement of Houbie.

Routes

Sorry but you need to be logged in to the site to see routes and problems at crags. Of course it costs nothing to register and you’ll be able to see all! Thanks.
