Very much a work in progress! This place is better known as the Mavis Grind quarry. For so long it had been ignored as the rock is, on first inspection, incredibly broken! However with a lot of work from the usual suspects 5 superb routes have been cleaned and now look like their on superb clean rock. There is a great deal of potential here, with possibly 25 - 30 routes feasible if the work is done / money is found. Although help with this is welcomed, please respect the effort and personal funds used so far by us and get in touch before you head out there to clean anything and certainly don't bolt anything without asking first please.

NB. Loweroffs are marked on the topo but are not yet in place. There are 2 normal bolts at the top of each route but you'll need some tat or old biners to leave.

On the A970 north of Brae, park just around the bend after Mavis Grind next to a pedestrian gate into a field with picnic benches. Don't block the crofter's gate - park down at Mavis Grind if there isn't space. Walk through the pedestrian gate and into the lower tier of the quarry on the right. The current bolted wall is at the back of this tier.

Sorry but you need to be logged in to the site to see routes and problems at crags. Of course it costs nothing to register and you’ll be able to see all! Thanks.
